This year's Legendary Battles set, Legendary Battles: Monster Mayhem, comes with three new surprises!

Surprise #1: Welcome to Chibi Style!
Get your hands on 10 popular monsters featuring alternative “chibi” illustrations, each one cuter than the last. We’ve already used the chibi style for accessories, but this is the first time it’s been featured on cards. And just to be clear, these aren’t tokens—they’re cards.

Surprise #2: A Style That Stands Out!
Another new feature of this set: embossed Ultra Rare cards! Each Legendary Battles: Monster Mayhem pack contains an Ultra Rare card of the Dragonirene, P.U.N.K., or Orcust archetype, featuring a crest specific to that archetype on its text box.
Here’s a golden opportunity to give your decks a boost with a unique style! There are a total of 51 crested cards, including 6 brand-new cards (2 for each archetype).

Surprise #3: Starlight Cards Are Back!
Well, some people saw this coming! But the real surprise isn’t the return of Starlight Rare cards—it’s the fact that they’ll be much easier to get! When they last appeared in 2023, these cards were extremely hard to obtain, but with Battles of Legend: Monster Mayhem, the odds of finding Starlight Rare cards will be roughly the same as those of finding Quarter-Century Secret Rare cards over the past two years.

No surprise there: A whole bunch of new cards!
One thing is certain: every Battles of Legend set always includes new cards for your decks, and they’re always foil. Legendary Battles: Monster Mayhem includes brand-new cards for Nekroz, Gem Knight, Prehistoric, Mythological, D/D, and Magistus decks, and many more.

And it’s no surprise—this impressive 177-card set includes many popular old (and new!) cards that you may not yet own(anyone want a Primitive Noble Filon?), or that you’d like to get in a foil version (the King of the Wild Goblins was very unhappy with his apparent lack of shine).

The set contains a total of 177 cards (52 Secret Rare cards, 51 Emblem Ultra Rare cards, and 74 Ultra Rare cards). Twenty-five of these cards are also available as Starlight Rare cards.
