The cycle of life originates from the planet's energy. All life is born from the planet and returns to it when its time comes. But the Shinra Corporation relentlessly exploits the planet's lifeblood, the river of life, to transform it into mako energy.
 
À After a series of brutal battles, former SOLDIER Cloud Strife and his companions flee Midgar and its Mako reactors to venture into the unknown. They travel across the plains on the backs of chocobos to face an uncertain fate across the planet.
 
At the same time, Private First Class Zack Fair is making his way across the desert at the gates of Midgar. Wounded and exhausted, he drags his weary body while carrying his friend Cloud, who has been poisoned by mako. Beyond the shroud of darkness, a menacing rift tears through the sky.
 
For its part, the Anti-Shinra Network, backed by the provisional government of Wutai, has declared war on the company.
During a somber procession, mysterious figures clad in black carry the remains of Jenova, the otherworldly entity responsible for all evil.

Due to the schemes of Cloud's sworn enemy, Sephiroth, the threads of fate have become entangled, leading to a resurrection.
 
FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is the long-awaited new chapter in the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake project, a reimagined version of the original cult classic released as three standalone titles by the same creative team. This time, players will encounter various new elements, eventually setting out on a journey to the Lost City from the original FINAL FANTASY VII.
