SOMBRAS NEGATIVE FRAMES SPECIAL FRAMES ED P5 VF

A FABLE ABOUT SELF-DISCOVERY
“SOMBRAS: negative frames” is a nostalgic narrative game with subtle elements ofhorror and an immersive photography system that explores themes of youth, art, mixed identity, and dysfunctional families.

EXPLORE A MIND IN PIECES
Shiomi Alterio, a Spanish-Japanese photography student, lives with her father in a small town in Japan following her parents’ recent divorce, far from the life in Europe thatshe was forced to leave behind.

One night, Shiomi is swallowed up by the darkness of a parallel world filled with familiar streets, hungry shadows, and a group of young girls who look a little too much like her…

Help Shiomi get home by taking photos of unusual scenes, surviving unsettling encounters, and piecing together all the fragments of her shattered self.

“ESCAPE FROM THE BROKEN MIRROR”
Forge connections with alternate versions of yourself, face your repressed fears, collect occult artifacts, and unlock the strange doors blocking your progress.

DISCOVER BEAUTY IN THE GROTESQUE
Explore the atmospheric, warped streets of the city of Shiomi: take striking photos, develop your film, and gain enough inspiration to upgrade your camera so you can uncover the many secrets of this liminal world.

“SOMBRAS: negative frames” is the second game from Maboroshi Artworks, the creators of the award-winning game “Last Time I Saw You.”
