Ready to set out on an exploration mission? Play as Mecano, a young Octaling or Inkling—whichever you choose—and set off on an expedition across the Spirhalite Archipelago to uncover all kinds of treasures. Along the way, hordes of monsters called Salmonoids will appear from all directions: unleash your ink and collect their pearls—a precious haul! Once you return to base, take stock of your finds and weapons, upgrade your gear, and expand your base. The more powerful your gear is, the better you’ll be able to take down increasingly formidable bosses and collect better loot!

You won't be alone in the field: a member of the Tridenfer (the trio of iconic stars from Splatoon 3) will accompany you aboard an exploration robot to help you face threats and recover loot. And if things get tough, you can count on their spectacular solo moves to get you out of a jam! With Pascale, a powerful shark swoops down on your enemies; with Angie, a shower of eels covers a wide area; with Raimi, you can climb onto his back and squirt ink at will for a limited time!
