His name? Makoto Daito. Born to an American father and a Japanese mother, Makoto lives in a world of persecution, a cruel fate brought on solely by his Asian heritage.

Desperate after losing both his parents and left entirely to fend for himself, Makoto decides to take a chance on everything and head to his mother’s homeland.

Although he set out without a penny to his name, Makoto soon realizes that his journey across the Pacific is anything but a “walk in the park” and that this decision will change his life forever.

You won't just control Makoto Daito—you'll truly become him: move hisleft and right fists independently and instinctively, both on offense and defense, to secure victory.

Follow up a quick strike with a heavy attack, send your enemies flying with a charged attack, tackle them while they’re off balance, or pin them to the ground to rain down a barrage of punches. Anything goes in Makoto’s world.

You can also block your opponent's attacks with one hand and counterattack instantly with the other. Anticipating their moves and creating your own openings will be crucial to winning.

In addition, you’ll be able to use and upgrade a wide variety of weapons (knives, hammers, katanas, and more) as you fight your way through successive eras marked by violence.

THE LIFE OF AN AGENT
In the early chapters of our story, Makoto’s guide and mentor discovers a hidden talent for music. Makoto then not only begins to sing a few tunes, but also takes on the role of a performer, staging a wide variety of incredible acts throughout Japan.of an agent, staging a wide variety of incredible performances all across Japan.

To put on these shows, Makoto has to keep an ear out for rumors on the streets and use them to track down talented singers and performers. He can then wander around the city to create new music, capturing every sound he comes across: the swish of a broom, the snoring of a sleeping neighbor, the rumble of passing trains...

Makoto can then create original songs by combining these sounds, a new musical style that the entire nation will be able to enjoy. He will select the set list, form the band, assign roles, and oversee production (from lighting to staging) to put on each show.
